Optional Snap-and-Mark processing
In this limited beta, a teacher may request transcription of one private page from an EdulabsAI-generated paper answer sheet. The page uses an opaque non-PII code. Anthropic receives the de-identified image or PDF and answer-region aliases, but no roster identity or answer key; it transcribes and suggests only. The teacher confirms the student/page match and every value and score before a normal assessment is saved. Raw review-ready originals have a maximum 30-day retention window, shortened to no more than seven days after approval, with earlier deletion possible and erasure advancing the deadline.
Optional Family Digest processing
Family Digest is an email-only, feature-flagged beta. A teacher enters the guardian display name and email address, preferred language and time zone and links the contact to a current roster. Delivery requires the guardian’s double opt-in, and every digest remains editable until the teacher approves the exact content. A guardian can unsubscribe through a private link, and the teacher can stop future messages.
Anthropic receives de-identified verified skill descriptions and official standard codes, not learner or guardian names, email addresses, raw answers, scores, rankings, diagnoses or confidence values. Resend receives the destination address, delivery metadata and exact teacher-approved email, which can include the student display name and learning summary. Optional five-question home practice expires within 14 days and cannot write answers, grades, progress or mastery to the school record.
This remains a feature-flagged beta pending counsel and Controller review. The final retention schedule for guardian contact, consent, digest and delivery records must be agreed before broad release. Enabled beta records are retained only for operating the relationship, documenting consent and withdrawal, following school instructions and meeting applicable legal obligations.
